He was literally the definition of perfectionism with his godly visuals being cherry on the top y̶e̶a̶h̶ i̶m̶ d̶e̶f̶i̶n̶i̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ n̶o̶t̶ s̶w̶o̶o̶n̶i̶n̶g̶. He was so kind, gentle and caring to her and never once doubted her worth and always motivated her to try and achieve the best for her. He not only encouraged her but was also there for her whenever she needed him. It shouldn’t matter. I thought Clarissa & Felix would get a book maybe but they clearly got their ending. Felix was cute tho! ♥️ And he just accepts it! Double gah!! The break up just added two hours of needless angst to an already tame listen. there’s also business drama, family drama, and cameos from some favorite couples and i loved every second. It shouldn’t matter. King of Pride’ was a great read that was even better than the first book in this series if you ask me. I can’t wait to read more books by Ana and definitely recommend you’ll start reading this series! Kai is so freaking charming and dreamy… ugh if I was Isabella I would’ve fallen in love with him instantly!! Like the things he did for her was just… I don’t even know how to describe it!! I‘m literally in love with him! I just loved how Ana Huang also represented him as introverted and closed off! I can very much relate to that. I loved how I could understand so many of his thought processes and feelings and relate to them as well! He‘s honestly one of Ana Huang’s best book bfs! I love Kai Young!!I kept waiting for the plot line but the only plot this book had was that Kai is an introverted, sophisticated billionaire who falls for a quirky, extroverted bartender. Their relationship could cause a scandal and jeopardise Kai who’s gunning for the CEO position in his company.
