The CPI button south of the scroll wheel became my favorite button, easily toggling between four different CPI settings. The MX Master 2S is an office mouse, with a thumb rest and a side horizontal scroll wheel to help navigate big documents and spreadsheets.On the other hand, the mouse's simplicity means that it lacks the ergonomic comfort of other options. Also, the scroll wheel lacks a free-scrolling mode and left/right tilt inputs, which are useful features for many workflows. However, if you’re spending about four hours of gaming each day, you only really have about two months of use before you have to replace that battery.

Oh, and if you are running out of juice, there's an LED indicator that'll start flashing when you're at 15% or less. I like the feel of the buttons, but if you’re used to tighter buttons or fancier mice with adjustable tension…you might find these a tiny bit loose.
